There are 2 cycles to chose from on my washing machine and on both it will stop and just make a clicking noise when tub is full of water and trying to go into drain next. So far, I can turn dial a little or go to other cycle's drain cycle and finally get it to drain & spin.
Also, occasionally it will complete the washing cycle but does not stop and will go into the other washing cycle.
I don't know if parts are even still available for this old washing machine.
I've used y'all in the past & been able to repair appliances so hoping to again.  Thanks

Hello,
It sounds like the lid switch as this is a common issue with top load washers.. the problem is the one for your model is no longer available.. there are other possibilities, pump failed, timer failed..but being the lid switch which is a common issue is no longer available then it might be time for a new washer
