My whirlpool dishwasher model WDF530PLYB7 will complete a cycle but when finished, there is still water that completely remains in the sump. If I press the cancel button I can hear the pump running, however the water still remains no matter how many times I do the cancel cycle. Has anyone experienced this problem and found a solution?

Hello,
The sound of the circulation pump can be confused with the drain pump operating. I would first check this pump which is the actual drain pump to make sure it is not clogged or to verify that it is indeed pumping as it should  https://www.speedyapplianceparts.com/w10348269-dishwasher-drain-pump-replacement/

Good Luck!
