2017 Samsung model RF23J9011SG/AA is only two years old and over the weekend started emitting a bad chemical smell. It is cooling properly with no issues. The smell comes and goes. Any ideas?!

Hello,

Sorry a little late here... a chemical smell will likely be a plastic or wire getting hot.. there really isn't anything else that could put off a odor (unless its food related) from a refrigerator... these just have to be tracked down and pinpointed.. if you can find the source i can help you identify the part but not sure where to tell you to start other than following the scent.. good luck!
