The ice maker is not working properly The model # does not sgow up on most parts websites. It is GSML6PGXAEGS. It uses a common GE ivemaker. WR30X10093. But that # has various differences. The fridge was running in all summer while we were away for 5 months. Water was turned off and I forgot to turn off the ice maker. I turned on the water to the fridge. It n made a few small ice cubes and then did nothing.  This model does not have a wire arm that turns off the ice harvest. It is a center fill and does not have an electrical switch to turn off the ice maker. There is a sliding arm that moves in and out to control the ice. It has no green lite. I saw that the whitee plastic  "comb" that pushes out the cubes was stuck. I could hear the motor trying to turn but nothing happened. I gave it an assist and the cubes fell and the tray filled with water. This happens over and over. The ice cubes are not full size. Should I just get another ice maker? I see lots of them for sale with that model number but other than a OEM GE none have that sliding arm. Thank you

Hello,
I am not able to locate that model in any of my systems for lookups. The issue you describe does sound like an icemaker  failure. If these start to fail internally such as the ejection motor seizing up its best to replace the entire icemaker. because replacement parts for icemakers anymore are a thing of the past

https://www.appliancezone.net/wr30x10093-ge-refrigerator-ice-maker-replacement/ this is a low cost re-manufactured option for this icemaker or you have the OEM brand new at about $100 more
