In a yellow flash, the inner portion of my large front burner ceased to function.  Given the modular nature of appliances these days, I assumed it would be a straight-forward fix, and I seem to be correct.  The problem is, I can only find the MEE62385301 burner for over $200!

I came here in hopes that someone can point me to a compatible burner, priced in the far more reasonable $50-$100 range, like virtually every other burner I've come across.

Any help?

Thank you,
Jonathan

LG is not very good about offering alternate parts to theirs especially at a lower cost so there may be something out there that would work but you would have to do some research on your own by the size, mounting, hookup and wattage rating in hopes you can find one for another brand that happens to be exact to the one you have

Thanks for the input - obviously not what I was hoping for, but understandable.
I'll be digging for specs from EGO (manufacturer name stamped on the element) to do as you say.  I seriously cannot justify $250 (by the time I've had it shipped) for a single burner on a ~$1000 stove!

I totally understand.. sounds like Highway robbery...  I mean here is a radiant element.. not the same as what you have but still is 70% cheaper than the one you have to buy https://www.appliancezone.com/wb30t10129-ge-range-radiant-element/
doesn't make sense how they can justify that kind of price when similar ones are on the market for a lot less
