I have a Miele G522 dishwasher, and it has been dripping from the part shown in the photo:
Does someone perhaps know what this is, and the best way to replace it as it has corrosion on what appears to be the bracket.
Thanks!

Good Morning and thanks for posting!

I apologize as we have hardly any information on this brand, but I was able to find a spare parts list for your model # and I think this may be the solenoid valve. Here is the link to that part should that be the cause of the leak : https://www.buyspares.com/dishwasher/miele/g522/dishwasher-solenoid-valve/product.pl?pid=973477&path=496306,463858:496324,108720:463951&refine=solenoid+valve&model_ref=3470693

Thanks!

That's exactly it, thank you very much... appreciated!
Any hints on how to get access to those 2 rusted screws, as access is covered by the fixed side panel. Do I need to remove a larger part of the assembly to work on it? Or is there some trick to loosening it?

Glad I was able to find it! You're very welcome! Smile

I was trying to find a parts diagram for this model, but I was not able to find specifically your unit showing the solenoid valve. I am sorry about that. You may want to try contacting the manufacturer to see if they would have any tips or tools to recommend. Good luck with your repair and let us know if there's anything we can assist with!

Thanks!
