GE dish washer GDF610PGJ2WW
Absolutely no power, no lights.
Switch is on, receptacle has power, breaker on and good not tripped, the conductors in the box under the dishwasher and connected properly and have 120v to them, all branches of the wiring harness are hot, and the circuit boards are hot tested with a tic tracer.

I've replaced the main circuit board expecting that to fix it since there are no fuses in GE dishwashers and all end points have power to them. I dont know how to diagnose circuit boards. Maybe it's the small circuit board in the door behind the control buttons? Power is good to that control board.

Unit is not locked out.

Could the door closed sensor be bad? I havent really considered that because even with the door open you should be able to set cycles or atleast have some sign of life.

Thanks for any input.

Good Morning and thanks for posting! Sorry to hear you're having this issue with your appliance.

Have you tried shutting the breaker off or unplugging the unit for at least 5 minutes to see if you could get some sort of light or sound to come on when you restored power to the unit?

I would also recommend checking the wire nuts at the junction box on the unit. I've heard they can come loose and cause problems with the appliance. Please disconnect power to the unit before checking this.

Most likely the problem isn't the circuit board behind the control panel. Usually if that board or panel malfunctions then there are still lights or sounds that come from the appliance.

The same thing goes for the door lock, usually the unit still has sound or lights when the door locks fails. You could try ordering a new one as they aren't that expensive but they are tricky to test. Here is the link to that part on our sponsor's site if you want to order that part : https://www.appliancezone.com/wd21x10490-ge-dishwasher-door-latch/

If you have any questions, please let us know!

Thanks!
