I have a Whirlpool model WRF954CIHV00.  It was purchased 14 months ago and the ice maker quit making ice.  I took the ice maker out and found that one of the wires that goes into the top of the door is broken.  It doesn't look like the tube where the wire goes is meant to come out.  If it is, I can't figure it out.  I am finding very little online about this style of ice maker.  Please help.https://appliancerepairforum.com/uploads/images/e0c32006-2121-4d9b-b298-4cbd.jpg

Yeah I am having issues locating this.. it is not listed as a replaceable part, at least the tube.. You might have to do some custom engineering on this one.. you can try Whirlpool directly but i dont know if they will be much help.. is there not enough wire to pull through so you can splice in a new connector?

Unfortunately the wire is broken off flush.  I tried calling Whirlpool but ended up in phone tree hell.

Yeah I can imagine.. the only suggestion I have is try to remove that piece, it should be removable you would think.. I have never run across this type of issue or part before so that is all i can think of
