Hello all,

Every two weeks I have to defrost my fridge and the fan gets a weird sound. For a while it used to take months for this to happen to me, now it only takes two weeks.

Can you help me identify where's the problem and/or which parts should I be ordering?

The most recent things I have done in my fridge are cleaning the coils (they had tons of dust) and also making small cuts in the two tubes that are located in the coils area so that the water has better flow in the evaporator tray.
So far, I don't see any improvement other than I'm gettin annoyed of doing deattaching the back panel all the time.

I can post videos about this problem but please check this image that was a while ago, when the fan was not clogged but there was lots of ice, causing poor air circulation in the fridge:

Good morning Kray, I am a very experienced technician, have never worked in the industry, but have been repairing appliances most of my life.  I gained lots of experience in the Navy maintaining very complex and sophisticated equipment.  I recently (two weeks ago purchased a beautiful Samsung fridge with the twin cool plus system.  within a short time I too experienced the same symptoms... at first the fan made some noise, then finally it totally quit...I took the cover off the evap in the fridge....found some built up ice by the fan keeping it from turning... no ice on the coils... no blockage in the drain system.  I did lots of reading about the samsung fridge issue.. Here is what I have learned.. Hope this helps you.  The issue is an intrusion of warm moist air getting in to the evaporator where it should not....there are many other problems.... associated with this.... but if the coils are free of ice.. but the fan is not  then you know the derrost system is working correctly... what I found when I took the evap cover off was that the wire for the heater element (not the element its self was under the cover between the cover gasket and the back wall of the fridge..  Now here are a few other things I have learned from research and analysis based on my troubleshooting experience.  The appliance repair industry has not kept up with the rapid increase of complex designs by Samsung.  I have watched many videos by professional Appliance repair techs...they fix the symptoms, but not the problem.   The first thing I did was obtain the Samsung Service manual for my fridge....Wow lots of info.....so the bottom line is if you solve the air flow issue....you should not have the icing issue... they worked great when new... then over time the deteriorated.... the other issue is the defrost heater may or may not melt the ice in the vicinity of the fan....but again when these were new everything was fine... and now its icing up....my intentions are the next time it ices up to the point I have to take the cover off, I am going to put new weather stripping on the cover to make sure that airflow that the engineers designed into the fridge is maintained.   The shop manual is avail. from Samsungparts.com or you can get it from ebay... either one is in pdf form....If you want to discuss this on the phone give a PM.  One of the thing I learned from the service manual is that if any of the sensors/motors/heaters/switches fail they computer will id it and you can see the failure on the front panel if you know how to access it... also if the fan is frozen the computer knows it and shuts it off so it will not burn up... very good engineering on their part.
I will probably get some negative feedback on my comments about the appliance repair industry... but they are parts changers not technicians anymore... there are few old guys like me (72) that actually try and fix things... if possible.
Also I am a Navy CPO who has very thik skin   and don't care what all the "experts" on the internet think.....
Hope this helps.... wouild like to hear from any other fridge owner that have seen similar issues....one last comment Samsung needs to accept responsibility for some design issues that have caused lots of bad press and even a lawsuit or two....
