Hi Everyone I'm getting an Error 09 on my Thermador Dishwasher and the dishes are not drying.  Is there anything I should check or test first before I purchase and replace the heat pump?  TIA

Sorry I should have provided that.  Model # DWHD651JPR/50
I belive the problem could be the control board in the door or the heating pump.  Right now I'm not getting any heat at all and washing cold.  Please let me know what you think

As I  figured I am unable to get any technical info for this dishwasher.... sometimes certain brands and models they limit the amount of information on their appliances.. I see this with a lot of appliances made for use in Canada.

I took apart the heating pump and I've attach pictures to this post.  The terminal connection on the heating cylinder has a plug with three wires, a green on the left and two red wires that are to the of the green.  They are heavier gauge wires so I believe they would be the power to the heat pump.  I read that I should be getting a resistance across the terminals of 15-30 ohms and if anything more the pump is bad.  I'm not getting any reading at all across any of the terminals.  Should I believe that the heating element is bad?  Do I take the gamble and buy the whole new heat pump for $200 or should I check the control board first for a loose rely connection from it overheating.

If you are not getting any reading at all then that part would be bad if the technical specs say you should have a reading.. if you want to confirm, just make sure you have some voltage going to the part via the plug or wires that go to that part.. again, I have no technical info for this model so I cannot verify myself what tests need to be conducted and what the readings should be but in a universal application it should not be much different than any other appliance.. good luck and I hope you get your appliance back up and running!
